How often can cats have Matatabi sticks?
Matatabi sticks are natural and therefore harmless. However, your cat can get used to the smell and effect of the cat toy. We therefore advise giving the stick to the cat 2 to 3 times a week. To prevent your cat from getting bored with it, you can store the sticks for a few weeks before giving them back to the cat.
As with Catnip, the effect of Matatabi varies per cat. Some cats react more strongly to it than others and some cats do not react to it at all. However, cats younger than 6 months often do not react to Matatabi and Catnip.
